South Brisbane, Woolloongabba, West End, and Kangaroo Point are the closest residential areas. Fortitude Valley and New Farm provide excellent access via public transport. The Gabba is the centrepiece of Brisbane 2032.
Gold Coast — Beach Volleyball, Sailing, Triathlon
Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, and Burleigh Heads offer the closest accommodation to Gold Coast venues. The Gold Coast is approximately one hour south of Brisbane by train or road.
Sunshine Coast — Road Cycling, Mountain Bike
Noosa, Maroochydore, and Caloundra are the primary accommodation hubs for Sunshine Coast venues. Approximately 90 minutes north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast offers a premium coastal alternative.
